- Vitamix 5200 Blender – While I do eat fruits and veggies often, I could always consume more. The easiest way to do this is by blending them all together, throwing in a few spices and extras, then drinking it for one of your meals. They taste great, it’s simple to make, and the cleanup is so easy. I’ve owned this blender for over 3 years and it’s one of my favorite purchases ever.
Books
- The Starch Solution: Eat the Foods You Love, Regain Your Health, and Lose the Weight for Good! – Pretty self-explanatory, but this book is great. Tons of info, facts, case studies, and testimonials. I think I need to read it again. Be right back…
- How Not to Die: Discover the Foods Scientifically Proven to Prevent and Reverse Disease – I actually haven’t read this book, yet. But I’ve read a lot of Dr. Greger’s articles and watched a ton of his videos. His website has tons of facts, and I need to order this book ASAP.
- Thrive, 10th Anniversary Edition: The Plant-Based Whole Foods Way to Staying Healthy for Life – I read an earlier version of this, and it had all sorts of info about the vegan life, and how it works great for athletes. Plus it had meal plans and recipes. Grab this updated version.
